This is my self portrait. I created this using the adobe illustrator program. With the pen tool I outlined a photo of me then filled it in with natural colors. The background was a free-hand drawing of the Kailua Beach. I wanted the background too look like a pastel kind of thing. Over all I enjoyed illustrating this beautiful image of me.

Beginning Project
This is our beginning project, my city. I created this using photoshop. To make this I learned how to use a combination of the marquee tool, lasso tool, burn tool, and the dodge tool. The marquee tool was used to make all the squares and rectangles (windows, Building structure, street lines, etc.) in this picture. The lasso tool was used to make the trees and grass. The burn and dodge tool was used too shade objects light or dark, bringing a more realistic look to the image.
Celebrity Face
This is my Celebrity Face project. In this project we googled a celebrity (in my case Kelly Rowland), and put our face on their body using photoshop. With this project I learned how to use the scale tool and got better with the burn and dodge tool. The first step in this project was to take a picture, erase everything in the picture except your face. Then, scale your face so that your head is the same size as your celebrity photo. After that erase the extras on your face that you wont need, this is too help improve the image to make it look more real. Last you use The burn or dodge tool too shade your face so that it matches the skin-tone of your celebrity. Now you got a finished masterpiece of your celebrity face.

Introduction
Hi, my name is Day'Nesah Calbert. I am a student at Lincoln High School. I created this blog in my multimedia class, taught by Mr. Mutter. In this class we used adobe photoshop and adobe illustrator for our illustrations. We learned how to use layers and different tools to create shapes and images. I will post the projects I have accomplished in this class, hope you like :)
